Dear Parents:

The Home & School Association of Galveston Catholic School would like to welcome you for the 2008-2009 academic year. We are looking forward to working with parents, teachers and administration for the upcoming year. We are coordinating several fundraising activities this year including the Kroger’s Neighbor to Neighbor Program, Box Tops for Education and Campbell’s Labels for Education.

The Kroger’s Neighbor to Neighbor Program will donate a total of $1 million this year. The million dollars will be given to all organizations registered in the Program in proportion to the total amount spent by individuals who have their Kroger’s Plus Card linked to the Program. All you have to do is take the enclosed letter with you the next time you go to Kroger’s. When you get to the cashier to check out, simply give them the letter and then your Kroger’s Plus card. Once they scan both, your card will be automatically linked any time you use your Kroger’s Plus card.  You do not have to have the letter every time you go. Make sure to give it to all of your family and friends so that all of their purchases can be credited to the GCS total.

Enclosed is a list of participating products and Marketplace participants for the Box Tops for Education Program. Box Tops Marketplace is a way to earn money shopping via the web. What an easy way to help our school!

Last year we earned over $900 and this school year’s goal is $2000. We encourage everyone to go to www.boxtopsforeducation.com and sign up to receive the latest information about earning money for our school.

The Campbell’s Label for Education program is new this year, and we are very excited about it. Attached is a list of participating products for this program. With the points earned we are able to purchase a variety of items useful to the school from the Campbell’s Label for Education catalog. Again, we encourage everyone to go to the website, www.labelsforeducation.com and sign up.

The Box Tops and UPC codes can be submitted through your child’s teacher or by dropping them off directly into our Box Tops and Campbell’s Label for Education depository located in the school’s foyer.
